Dr. Najib Salim

A UK-trained trauma and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Najib Salim completed specialist fellowship foot & ankle training in Oxford, UK and Sydney, Australia, before being appointed as a consultant in 2004. A former senior officer in the Royal Navy, Dr. Cannon has a wealth of experience that includes being deployed to war zones around the world to deliver much-needed orthopedic interventions. He spent 9 years working at Portsmouth NHS Trust on the south coast of the UK where he dealt with complex foot & ankle problems, as well as military sports injuries. Dr. Cannon relocated to the UAE in 2013 where took up the role of Chief of Orthopedics at Mafraq Hospital, before moving to Rashid Hospitalin 2016.
