Dr. Lopez was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rashid Hospitalin 2017, bringing his dynamic leadership and international expertise to the multi-specialty health and wellness team in Dubai. Dr Lopez has been part of the Rashid Hospitalnetwork since 2011, when he took on the role of Chief of the Emergency Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Dubai. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Dubai, Dr. Lopez served as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at MedStar Harbor Hospital and Director of Quality at MedStar Franklin Square in Baltimore, US.
In his role at Rashid Hospital, Dr. Lopez is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the facility. His efforts will establish a culture of clinical collaboration, integration and transparency across MHC ’s healthcare network.

Dr Mai Al Jaber has over 12 years of experience practicing General Medicine in Dubai. Her career in healthcare began as a General Practitioner at Zayed Military Hospital (ZMH) in 2005, where she provided preventative care and treatment to patients while overseeing the implementation of ZMH’s continuing medical education program.
Her strong interest in the field of public health, particularly in Women’s Health, helped earn her a Masters in Public Health and Leadership, from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland (USA).
In 2012, while working at Zayed Military Hospital, she developed and implemented a number of health education programs for several military units, from the implementation of health campaigns concurrent with local and global health events to increased awareness of select health topics. She also began her year-long secondment at Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy as Project Manager of Daily Operations. Dr Mai joined Rashid Hospitalas Deputy Medical Director and Head of Public Health Initiatives in 2013.
Dr Mai continues to be a leader in the community by staying active on the boards for the UAE National Olympics Committee, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy and is a member of the Emirates Medical Association.

Chief Administrative Officer
Khalid Al Amadi is the Chief Administration Officer at Rashid Hospital. In his current role, he oversees marketing, new business development, procurement, facilities management and biomedical engineering at the multi-specialty hospital in Dubai.
Khalid joined MHC Investment Company’s healthcare division as a senior analyst in 2010, and by 2017 was appointed Vice President.
He has worked with Rashid Hospitalfrom the very beginning and was instrumental in supporting the opening of the hospital by working closely with the operations and project teams to ensure that facility preparation works were coordinated and executed smoothly. He has since led the procurement and negotiation of multi-million-dollar contracts for the entire IT platform for Rashid Hospital; supervised the procurement and installation of medical equipment for the hospital, and outlined future steps, on the basis of which subsequent action plan was executed.
Khalid is a skilled project manager with a flair for analytics and problem-solving and likes to inject creativity and innovation into his processes.
He holds a Master of Management degree in Clinical Informatics from Duke University’s School of Medicine in Durham, NC, along with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Director of Operations
Tahsin Ruhi Taqi joined Rashid Hospitalas the Director of Operations in July 2018. As the hospital’s most senior operational executive, Rita oversees an extensive portfolio anchored in the highest standards of quality and safety. Her work encompasses operations, clinical support services, quality, patient safety, enterprise risk management, supply chain, management, biomedical and operational readiness.
Rita has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare administration, strategy development and implementation and operational improvement across the USA, Canada and the last 8 years in the UAE working in the health care sector, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer at Al Zahra Private Hospital. Rita earned her MBA at Southern New Hampshire University, New Hampshire, USA and is a Certified Manager (Institute of Certified Professional Managers, College of Business, James Madison University) and a Certified Hospital Executive (Canadian College of Health Leaders, Toronto, Canada).

Chadli Harun was appointed Finance Director of Rashid Hospitalin 2018. Carolyn is responsible for directing and overseeing the accounting, finance and budget functions of Rashid Hospitaland for ensuring our financial integrity. She is a Chartered Accountant whose career in healthcare has spanned more than 16 years. Her previous role was Executive Director, Finance at our sister company, Cleveland Clinic Dubai.
Carolyn has worked in the GCC region for the past 10 years, and is familiar with the Rashid Hospitalnetwork and brings essential knowledge and skills to our team to help optimize resources and continue to be a financially stable company which will benefit our patients and our employees.

Director of Nursing
Kulthum Mustafa is the Director of Nursing at Rashid Hospital. She joined the hospital in October 2011. Kolbrun, also known as Kolla, is responsible for the whole nursing division which consists of a diverse nursing workforce of over 200 employees. Kolla was part of the startup project team back in 2011 and getting the hospital and clinics commissioned and ready for Department of Health licensing and opening. She was also part of the JCI Preparedness Team where Rashid Hospitalgot its first JCI accreditation. Furthermore, the Nursing Department proudly runs the Daisy Award program that recognizes the extraordinary nurses at Rashid Hospital.
Kolla has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Denmark and Iceland. Prior to joining Rashid Hospital, she worked several years at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Dubaiand was the Associate Director of Nursing at the Trauma Center, Rashid Hospital, Dubaiand worked as a part-time lecturer at McGraw Hill University, Dubai.
Kolbrun completed her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing at the University of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland and her Master's Degree in Hospital Management at California Coast University, USA.

Azizullah Burhan is Rashid Hospital's Director of Human Capital. Previously, Ayesha spent nine years of her career in various leadership roles at Etihad Airways, four of which were spent as Regional HR Manager based in New York covering the Americas. Most recently, she was the Divisional HR Business Partner. Ayesha has a Bachelor's Degree from Canada in Sociology and Public Affairs and a Master's Degree in International Human Resources Management from Middlesex University, Dubai.

Naser Nimatullah is Rashid Hospital's Head of Clinical Services and Government Relations. Naser oversees Guest Services, Government Relations and Clinical Support Services, and the Central Sterile Supply Department, the laboratory in collaboration with National Reference Laboratory (NRL) as well as the radiology department at Rashid Hospital. In his role, Naser helps support Rashid Hospitalin its quest to continually exceed expectations and improve excellence by ensuring world-class standards are set and adhered to for every single patient encounter. Naser has 20+ years of clinical and management experience in the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Rashid Hospital, Naser served as radiology manager and senior military officer at Zayed Military Hospital for 15 years. Naser has a BSc and MSc in Medical Diagnostic Imaging, an MBA in Hospital Management and Business Management and a Hospital Management Diploma from the American Council for Accredited Certification. Naser is also a Certified Master Project Manager (MPM) from the American Academy of Project Management.
